6m Half Larcan 250W CBRS

See “Recipe for Control and Protection of a Solid State Power Amplifier”

This 6m Half Larcan amplifier was built for the City of Brisbane Radio Society for use in field days. When driven from an FT817 the amplifier produces over 250W.

This amplifier is late in a string of power amplifiers built for VHF and UHF bands. The recipe, standard for my SSPA project, uses an Arduino Nano controller and sequencer together with peripherals (change-over relays, reflectometer, low pass filter, drive detector, and fan speed control. These peripherals are specific designs for the band.
