My amateur interests focus on VHF UHF operations. I have been on the 6m band since 1965 and it remains my special interest. Modes include SSB, CW, and digital. I maintain a HF capability primarily for liaison, and some VK contests. Occasionally, I operate CW, RTTY, and weak signal modes on 80 thru 10m. When not operating, I fill my time with my first love, experimenting with electronic circuit design, microprocessors, RF techniques, antenna design and construction. I assist local amateurs with their projects and their training.
